Dr Gary Utz, Forensic Pathologist, Day 2 of testimony.

Court sees words left from Caylee's rotting T-shirt 'Big Trouble Comes in Small Packages. Dr Gary Utz was not the primary medical examiner. He was "covering" while primary medical examiner was on vacation.
Cross by Mason. Dr Utz is explaining his role as Forensic Pathologist. Dr Utz was aware of the Caylee Anthony case prior to the remains were found. Dr. Varaglio was in charge. Dr Utz was knew to office. Dr Varaglio felt due to the notarity of case, she would be in charge.  She had working relationsip wit police.
Dr Utz is testifying to the placement of duct tape. Mason>The tape was not attached to the Left side or to the back of head.
 It has been reported in the news  that "duct tape was wrapped around the skull." Dr Utz stats there was some adherance on the left side. Cheney Mason is questioning him on the protocal of testing on tape. He wore gloves, took pics, sent material off to FBI lab.
There was no evidence of trauma. Mason>There was no evidence of broken bones? Utz explains "closed reduction" of fractures. In other words, healing fractures. There were reports of broken bones found ut more likely due to animals.  
Casey looks like she is getting sick. She is deep breathing and has tissue to her mouth. 
Cheney Mason is going over procedural testing on remains and what procedures he took part in. 
He is questioning him about the tape and mandible.The tape held the mandible in place. He held skull and mandible did not fall off. He is testifying to the cause and manner of death. Dr Utz did not make the determination nor does he know the cause and manner of death. He has not rendered an opinion.Dr Varaglio has determined it is homicide.  of unknown manner. No further questions. 
Prosecution redirect. Prosecution is entering into evidence left side of skull. The witness is  excused.
