Leonard Turtora (Universal Security)

He is empoyed at Universal in loss prevention. He is Asst Manager. He is an investigator for Universal.
 It is a security type job. He works with the Orlando Police Dept. Yuri Melich approached him on July 16th, 2008. He was there to find out if Casey Anthony had worked at Universal. He has access to databases of past and present employees..She worked there through a third party vendor.Thre was a Jeffery HopkinsTurtora: Jeff Hopkins employed by Universal 2001 to 2002   There was no Zenaida Gonzalez nor Juliettte Lewis. He told the officer he could escort Casey on the grounds but he would have to go with them.


Casey escorted them to a building where Mr.Turtora  knew had nothing to do with event planning. Casey  looked at him and put her hands in her pockets and said "I do not work here." They escorted her to a conference room where they talked to her. He then escorted the off the property.
Cross by Cheney Mason.  Mr Turtora already knew when he escorted them to the grounds that Casey did not work there. It was a sham ,wasn't it , per Cheney Mason.  Mr Turtura>NO.  Mr Turtura knew she was not an employee and had been an employee for a short time. He does not recall her demeanor. He knows she was not crying. He does not the extent knowledge of th two detectives. There was a Detective Allen there. the building was 200 yards . He agrees that everyone knew. Cheney describes it as a charade.  Mr Turtura asked her where we are going,she pointed to a building. In his opinion  she knew he knew she did not work htere. After her confession, he then offered the officers a conference room. He did not see her mirandized.. It had a table and some chairs. She was there 30-45 minutes.  He does not know if it was recorded. He also checked another name. Tommy Manley. It was a false name, too. No further questions.
Redirect Mr Burdick. in his opinion she knew she did not work there. As they all worked the 200 yards to the "events building" she knew she was not employed. She maintained this "charade per Mr Cheney"  They did not handcuff her. She did not resist but he did not watch her. She asked while they were leaving  she asked  if they had looked in other states.
