Erica Gonzalez Testimony, Shot girl at Fusion.

Erica Gonzalez is now on the witness stand. She and Casey Anthony exchanged text messages in June and July of 2000. She was a shot girl at Fusion on Fridays in June 2008. Baez objects and his objection is noted in record. He is overruled. She met Casey at Fusion through a girl who worked there. She had oppurtunity to talk with her through her job. Tony was her boyfriend. Casey was her "manager." She oversaw her wardrobe and she "protected" them.  She did not tell them what to wear or offered suggestions. Casey did tell he she worked at Islands of Adventure. She did not know what her job was at Island of Adventure. She knew Jamie Realander.  She does not recall any incident with Jamie. Casey mentioned her having a daughter while they were taking pictures in the bathroom at Fusion. Casey made a comment that she took care of them  becasue she had a daughte She never mentioned that Caylee was missing at that time. There was no evidence that there was a problem with Caylee being missing. She was always happy.
Beaz crosses. Erica Gonzalez admits Casey was always kind and courteous. Csey was never drunk. Baez asks if she can add anything on how Caley died and she says, 'NO."
Recess

Jamie Realander, Pic of Casey dancing with girl, She is on the side.

Before she is called there is a sidebar. Recess for 10 minutes. Casey now has a black sweater, Judge Perry is on the stand. Jury in place.
Jamie glances towards Casey as she approaches the stand .Realander says she worked with #CaseyAnthony from June 27, 2008 through July 11, 2008 as a shot girl at Fusian.  She met Casey through a friend. She was nice. There was nothing concerning about her demeanor. She became employed as a "shot girl."  June 20th, 2008. She was not a shot girl. June 13th. She was not a shot girl. . June 27th she worked as a shot girl. Casey was the "go to" girl for shot girl for directions. June 20th she went to Fusions. She was there for the hot body contest. She was not a shot girl at that time. She is shown a pic. She is not the girl in the pic dancing .  She recognizes herself. It is the pic of Casey dancing with a girl. She is not the girl but is on the side.  She does not remember Casey's behavior  as abnormal. Baez is obviously upset when he attempts to have Jamies observation of Casey's behavior omitted. and is overruled.
Baez is cross examining behavior. She testifies Casey was nice. She testifies she was like a "big sister" to them. She always protected them from harms way. She denies knowing anything about what happened on June 16th.
Prosecution redirects. She denies being told by Casey that Caylee had been kidnapped. She denies being told anything was wrong with Caylee and/or needing help. She admits Casey was a protector of her at Fusion.

The Neighbor with the shovel.

The Defense again asks for Mr Berne the neigbor with the shovel be removed. The shovel is not related. They are  not disputing that Casey was not looking for her child. The site law and precedence. The motion is denied.  BAez wants his objection noted and renewed. Prosecuter is discussing the quality of audio. The jury is brought in .Brian Berner, the neighbor with the shovel.
Casey would breifly say "hello" from time to time. He took a vacation in June. He returned on June 16th. June 17th,he saw Casey's vehicle backing into the garage. No one else was known by him to drive the car. He could see the front edge of the garage from his window. It did not seem odd. It was the first time he saw the vehicle back into th1 garage. It did not seem odd. He could see the front of the garage from his window. He was doing yardwork on the18th. Casey approached him about 130p when she  a sked him to borrow a shovel to dig up a bamboo root.   The defense is showing photos of Burner’s garage which has the shovel he says he lent to Casey. He identifies it. She had never asked for anything in the past and he did not have issue with it. She came to the shed and obtained it. She took the shovel in the garage. She returned the shovel about an hour later. There was nothing noted about he appearance or her clothing.  He does not know how long the car stayed in the garage. He had only met George one time in that timeframe. It was in July. He was never approached by Casey's family members about Calyee being missing. There was nothing in Casey's demeanor when she borrowed the shovel , that could have been attributed to Caylee being missing.
Cross by Baez.  Beaz attempts to cross but he is met with so many objections he gives up and closes his file.

May 25, 2011 Questioning, Tony Lazzaro's Roommates.Sutton Park Apartments.

Well, Judge Perry starts the day  "laying down the law" Apparently, the State is not releasing the daily witness list and therefore the Defense is not prepared with the files. When the witness list is called the
Defense has to go find the files. Judge Perry states the State cannot force the Prosecution to give them the list bt if thee want to play games, he will play games. He tells them he is not going to keep the jury waiting while someone searches for files. He states he will cut the lunch time to 35 minutes and they will work on Sundays. He is angry and calls a recess.CaseyAnthony is still sitting at the defense table as court is in break, occasionally talking to her defense team.

Casey was staying there, from what he understood, while she looked for an apartment with Am Huzienga. He never saw her get ready for work.He may have saw Caylee one time after she moved in but in not sure. Caylee was reported to be at the "beach" with the nanny for a birthday. Casey would mention she talked to Caylee on the phone. He never witness he talking to a nanny or Caylee. He remembers Tony going to help her with the car at the Amscot. She cooked and cleaned. He socialized with her at Fusion nightclub on Friday evenings. She cooked, cleaned and was a "shot" girl at Fusion night club. Anthony had a prodcution  company and they worked there on Friday..Jose is objecting to the picture of Casey at Fusion night club but Judge Perry states it has not been shown yet.  The defendant can not recall the date the pic with Casey is wearing the blue dress on but knows it was at Fusion night club. he was there. Objection and sidebar. Pic is entered as evidence with stipulation of  objections from  defense. Casey appeared out-going and having a good time at these events. He never saw her distraught, depressed, worried or unhappy. "NO" He was never to told Caylee was missing nor was he asked for help. He was home when Cindy came over. He denies seeing any credetials. She would come back in the evening. When Casey started staying there full -time he never say Caylee. He asked where Caylee was and she said she was with the nanny. She never said the name. The nanny was local and Caylee was not mentioned .She did not appear worried with Caylee being with nanny. Clint was a business partner with Tony. Casey participated in "hot body" contest. She was a shot girl. She mingled with the crowd. She was happy. She did not appear distraught or worried. Her and Tony appeared happy with each other. Tony was happy. He had soon after move out and had had a falling out a bout Fusion. Casey made an effort to get them back together. She never mentioned Caley was missing. Defense crosses and questions the well-being of Caylee. He denies she was mistreated or malnourished. He was not there when Caylee visited and went in Tonys pool. He testifies everyone had a computer and he was not a "monitor" of computers when questioned by Baez. He testifies he was a promoter. His job as promoter was not to sell the atmosphere. Fusion was a sushi bar by day and martni bar by night. Casey was not a shot  girl but was not manager but "took an interest" in the shot girls and helping Tony. Casey cooked and cleaned at the house.y
Maria Kissh is on the stand.  She  was actually dating Clint Houise during the time that Casey Anthony was with Tony Lazzaro. This is not the first time we are hearing of Kissh. She met Caylee at Tony's apartment.tCaylee anwered the door. She had never met  Caylee before that. Casey was not in the room Casey came out of Tonys room. She saw Casey came out of the room for a minute and then went back to Tony's room. She spent about 20 minutes with Caylee. Clint was busy and Caylee was on the balcony with her. When it was time to go , she felt uncomfortable leaving with Caylee out on the balcony. Casey was not in the room. Objection and sidebar.Tony, Casey and Caylee were going to leave. Casey and Tony came out and Casey told Caylee to get her shoes on  and Caylee was struggling and she helped Caylee with her shoes. Caylee was verbal. She never saw Caylee again She would visit the apartment 2-3 times a week. Casey was there all the time.We were acquaintances. They were polite. Casey said she worked for Universal as an event planner.  She did not mention her hours. She did not see any credentials from Universal nor did she question it. They spent time together at clubs. Tony and Casey got along well. They appeared to get along. Baez appears frustrated by line of questing and shifts in his seat. She recalls June 20th being at the club with Casey and Anthony. She recalls there was a hot body contest and Casey participated in a blue dress. The prosecution is projecting a photo of Lezniewicz and Casey Anthony at a night club t.he trial, Kissh identifies the people in the pic. Caseys role was to be in charge of shot girls. She heard her directing shot girls. Caseys behavior did not  appear angry. Kissch spent the night Kissch saw Casey in the kitchen the next morning. Casey stated Caylee was at the beach and Casey stated she paid the nanny 400 dollars a week.  There are objections when the prosecution attempts to ask Kissch if she asked Casey about the paternity of Caylee.Kissch states she had went in Casey's vehicle to dinner.
Baez is now questioning Kissh for the defense’s cross examination.  Kissh testifies the was no odor in the car. Baez ikistates she did not like Casey? She denies not liking Casey. Baez states you did not like Casey at the house with CASey. Kissh denies having concers with CAsey being at the house with her boyfriend. Baez states, "That did not bother you at all?" He questioned CAsey if she was coming home or staying over. Casey would sometimes stay over at friends.  He  buckled car seat for Caylee and hugged Casey and said "be safe." He denies knowledge Caylee died June 16th.George is crying.  Prosecution rests. Caylee is crying.

Cross Examination"
Jose Baez questions George when he found out Casey was pregnant. He admits she was 7 months pregnant. George states he told Ricky (his brother) it was his and Cindy's business and they would handle what was going on with Casey. Baez is trying to show pic of CAsey at wedding in Myrtle Beach. Objection as Baez did not ask George to identify pic and Baez did not admit it into evidence. Sidebar per Judge Perry request.

George states he never say a paycheck. He states he finances were  her business. They were very good about helping her with emergencies. He hoped he spending money on Caylee and he needs. He admits he never spoke or met the nanny. He is questioned "For two years, Casey dropped off Caylee to someone you never met." Baez states "for most of her life." Baez asks did you go to Sport Authority to see if she was working. George states he was going to take her to lunch and check if she was working.  Judge Perry admonishes George and Jose Baez about "talking over each other."
June 16th. George admits to having breakfast with Caylee. She would swim almost daily. She would wake up and say "JO JO swim" daily. George says almost daily."You and Cindy were having problems, right" 'No." per George.  "When Caylee was born , you moved out , didn't you" Objection and sidebar.

Opening Statements, May 24, 2011/DEFENSE

resumes. Judge Perry on the bench. Jury enters. Cindy and George  are not in court. Are they avoiding potential  accusations of molestation and abuse by Casey Anthony.
Jose Baez begins his opening statement. Baez states he will tell us "what happened" during his opening statement. He states he will tell us about Roy Krumps participation in Caylees' death. He describes investigation .as desperate in nature. Appears they are going to blame  Roy Krump.Baez states this is not a case of Murder, Manslaughter or child abuse/neglect. Hmm. Baez states Caylee died in the swimming pool on June 16th, 2008.
CaseyAnthony appears to have a serious expression as Jose Baez is delivering his opening statement.
"On June 16th, Casey began hiding her pain, as sheh has done all of her life" Casey is crying. Baez states "Casey loved her child". Casey shakes her head "Yes." Baez states  George started molesting her at the age of 4 and it escalated. Baez describes her as a child abuse victim.  When Casey came home and told family she was pregnant, she was told to "be quiet."  Cindy and George denied Casey was pregnant at her uncles wedding. Cindy said." She was retaining water." and at times Casey was described as having a tumor. Casey was known to have worn a heavy overcoat in the summer, when visiting her moms job. Although, Cindys coworkers speculated, she denied it to be true. Lee touched Casey but it never went to intercouse. Per Baez, he did not deny it to FBI.Ca sey breaks down and sobs when Baez states Casey was groomed to lie. She could go to school at th age of 13 "after having a penis in her mouth." She breaks down and George "sighs."
Baez states, George Anthony took Casey Anthony in his arms after taking her out of the pool. He screamed  Casey would go to jail for child neglect and her mother would never forgive her. She begged her father for help and then the began the "cover -up.!"
The family was religious about removing the ladder because Caylee could open the sliding glass door. She was known to wake up asking to swim. Cindy had reported to co-workers someone had been using their pool without their permission. Baez states after reporting the pool ladder incident to detectives they did not investigate it further.
George was involved in the coverup and took steps to throw Casey under the bus to protect herself. The removal of gas from the shed was not an isolated incident by Casey. She was known to be unemployed and would often take gas from can. George knew and due  to his knowledge of police protocal , he knew if he reported the missing gas, 9 days later, after drowning, no one would investigate event.
George was telling everybody(except Casey)  after the car was returned that the car smelled like a dead body. He went to the police station himself and requested interview with detectives to report the small. He reported the gas can again and it had the duct tape on it, the same that was on Caylee. George sits in the gallery with his head down.
George met a woman while passing out flyers. He had an affair. They day before the remains were found, George admitted to woman that      Caylee's death was a "accident." while sobbing.   George will deny he had an affair but the guard at her apartment will testify he was there and spent alot of time. It was after that disclosue that he attempted to kill himself. Baez states he will not say George killed Caylee but it was an accident. Baez begins Roy Krumps  participation and states he buried  Caylee in the woods. He states Roy was persistant at reporting because he was "morally  bankrupt" and thought he would get 250,000 dollar reward. Baez demonstrates with measuring tape how far Caylees' body  was from street. It does not appear far, about 20 feet. He states so many people went by site to search and yet no one found her body.  Caylees body was not found until December 11, 2008.  He states water was not an issue.
WHY IF CAYLEE DROWNED ACCIDENTLY DID THEY LEAVE CASEY IN JAIL FOR 3 YEARS? DOES NOT MAKE SENSE.
Baez goes on to describe Roys Krumps involvement in the discovery of the body.Describes it as "for profit." But he does not say how the body got there." Baez state we will never  know how the body got there and how he knew it was the there.  (Well George would have had to be involved.)  I guess Jose Baez is setting up reasonable doubt. He needs just ONE juror to believe . Just ONE.Now Baez is blaming Tim Millers rescuers and private detectives. Now we move on to the decomposition and he blames it on the trash.Jose Baez states George was setting up the blame on Casey, while saying "I hope that is not my granddaughter in the car." He states George knew everything that happened. Now he moves on to Cindy. He states Cindy knew what happened . Co-workers state they were telling Cindy to call the police in regard to the car being found but she refused due to worry about "appearances." It wasn't until the supervisor made her go home was she forced to call police. He describes Cindy's desperate 911 call t o police as an act , due to George hat we do not hear on the 911 call. Cindy is reported  to turn to and say "George , Casey says the nanny to k her and George does not respond because he knows she did not.  He reports the family are liars and George was saying he had a job but was getting money from his mistress.
cadaver dog. He states there are supposed to be multiple cars to search not just the suspected vehicle.
Baez goes on to challenge the air samples and the methodology of processing. He describes Dr vonn testimony as self serving  as he is trying to profit off a tool  he is patenting to sell to police departments.  He goes on to dispute the forensic evidence even the placement of the duct tape ad the DNA on it.
Baez states the jury will not be able to convict Casey becausee  despite all the testimony they will not be able to say how she died.
Recess.

Opening Statements, May 24, 2011/ PROSECUTION

First Day of Trial, Opening Statements today. Posecution will be first.  Most of the attorneys on both sides are already in the courtroom, but Casey Anthony has not come in yet. Defense attorneys Baez and Mason have just gone back to the holding cell area. Casey Anthony has just walked into court for her first day of trial. George and Cindy are sitting in the fourth row on the left side. Cindy holds a teddy bear, while George holds an open Bible. Very sad. Judge Belvin Perry has just taken the bench. He calls for a side bar.The jury for the Casey Anthony trial is now being brought in .
The prosecution’s opening statements start off by focusing on the story of Caylee Anthony. ‎Case yAnthony appears to be very somber as she listens to the State's opening. At one point, she wipes a tear from each eye. Again, Casey Anthony wipes away a tear. Her parents, George and Cindy Anthony, are sitting on the left sidecontinue of the courtroom. Casey Anthony appears to have gotten more upset as opening statements have continued, steadily wiping away tears with a tissue now.Casey Anthony continues to cry openly, looking downward.
All of the Casey Anthony jurors have notepads on their laps and pens in their hands. Not many seem to be taking notes yet. Cindy Anthony has a pen clasped in her right hand, though it is difficult to tell if she is taking notes at the moment.  Casey Anthony is flanked at the defense table by attorneys Jose Baez, Cheney Mason, Dorothy Clay Sims, and Lizabeth Fryer. The jurors are giving the prosecutor their undivided attention. Absolutely no notes are being taken at this point\.The prosecution continues on with their opening statements. #CaseyAnthony seems more composed than before, but remains looking very serious. She almost appears "zoned out."  None of the Casey Anthony jurors are taking notes. A few jurors have even set their notebooks aside and no longer have them on their laps. The prosecution has been going strong on opening statements for almost 90 minutes.. Judge Perry calls for a recess.Case yAnthony is at the defense table for this recess, staying in the courtroom. Now that we are in recess, George and Cindy are no longer in the courtroom having stepped out for the break.
The prosecution opening statements resume. Jurors 1 through 9 are in the front row of the jury box. Jurors 10 throug h 12 and the alternates are in the back row. The prosecution continues dissecting the case day by day lie by lie, while Casey Anthony continues to stare. As the prosecutor is describing Cindy Anthony's third 911, #CaseyAnthony slowly shakes her head "no."  None of the Casey Anthony jurors are taking notes as they listen to the prosecution’s opening statements. The prosecution is going over lies that they say #CaseyAnthony told police. Casey appears to stare blankly ahead or with her eyes downcast. Cindy Anthony does not have the teddy bear with her in court anymore. The bailiff was concerned that the jury would see it. I don't think having the teddy bear would help Casey Anthony . The prosecutor is describing the discovery of Caylee's remains. Casey Anthony again shakes her head "no." Judge Perry is calling for an early lunch recess. The prosecution has now finished their portion of opening statements. Casey Anthony is standing with her hands in her pockets, talking with attorney Dorothy Clay Sims. Recess for lunch.
