Trial May,18,2011
Per reports, Baez was not at lunch .The Defense team was separated at two different lunch tables for the first time. I wonder if it was woman versus men as the women on the team seem to be all the interaction with Casey. Remember Baez telling her she is acting like a baby.
http://www.cayleedaily.com/2011/05/casey-atty-tells-her-shes-acting-like-a-2-yr-old/comment-page-5/ Karen Levy, Orlando Court coodinator sent our message. "jury selection is in recess until tomorrow. No other explanation will be given." The drama continues. If it is an appeal, no formal judgement would be given overnight.
Although, Baez used the word "accident" when interviewing the potential juror today, in regard to the death of Caylee , I don't believe the adjournment is due to a potential plea.
Wesh TV, Orlando , is reporting Baez is ill. Is he trying to stall the process or did he contract something from Attorney Finnell, who had been ill this week?
http://www.wesh.com/casey-anthony-extended-coverage/27939069/detail.html
It is reported that Attorney Finnel pulled herself away from the lunch table today and spoke on her cell phone during the entire lunch period.

Day 4,
Judge Perry is now on the bench.
When Judge Belvin Perry reconvened Thursday morning, Anthony's attorneys made reference to turning off certain microphones in the Pinellas, courtroom because conversations at the defense table were being quoted in media reports.
A specific reference was made to an online article where Jose Baez reportedly told his client to "stop acting like a 2-year-old."
"It puts the entire process in peril," said Baez.
Judge Perry told Baez the microphones will remain on in court.
The Judge told Baez, "I've done all I can do. This is America." Perry denies the defense request to shut off all mics and cautions the parties to be careful about what is said in a public courtroom
Anthony's attorneys made reference in court to a mitigating factor that their client suffered sexual abuse as a child and had poor coping skills and a lack of maturity
IMO, does not give you permission to kill your child.Anway.....Mason ( Caseys attorney) wants a list of criminal histories run on prospective jurors. The State says they have no obligation to disclose that. Perry agrees.
Juror 1 from Monday is called back. He is a white male in his 40's.There are approximately 15 spectators in the courtroom this morning for jury selection. Baez is in his portion of the voir dire of this witness. He is questioning the juror's knowledge of the case. Baez has finished questioning the potential juror. Perry has just allowed the potential juror to momentarily leave the courtroom.Perry just warned the attorneys: "you'd better get someone to order you some sandwiches." They may only get 35 min for lunch today.
Judge Perry has returned to be bench.Prosecutor Ashton has just entered the courtroom. The potential juror is not present. The attorneys are discussing the extent to which the defense may ask the prospective juror about mitigating circumstances.Mitigating circumstances re: whether the potential juror could consider both death and life in prison, be convicted. Perry rules against the defense, limiting the scope of voir dire regarding specific possible mitigators. Juror 1/1340 returns to the stand. The death penalty portion of this potential juror's voir dire is now over. Prosecutor Drane Burdick now moves to general questioning on pre-trial publickity. As the questioning of this juror continues, the number of reporters inside the courtroom has thinned out somewhat, per reports.
Baez now begins the defense portion of this potential juror's general voir dire for the #CaseyAnthony jury selection. CaseyAnthony jury selection is in lunch recess. The potential juror has been excused from the courtroom.Judge Perry says the lunch recess will last only 40 minutes.
