Beasley questioned by state's Linda Drane Burdick. Charity Beasley assisted Melich in collecting items from the Anthony home.Beasley: Took car, laptop, doll, Dora backpack , hairbrush, blue basket from car, hangars several misc item. She is testifying to the chain of command and collection protocol. She followed the tow truck. She followed the labeling and packaging protocol. Cindy gave her the laptop.She recorded collections at the Anthony home. When she got to the forensics lab she handed everything over. The laptop was handed to a forensic IT department.
Cross by Cheney Mason> She had not talked to Detective Melich. She did not know about the investigation prior to the night before. What she knew it was a missing child's case. She was requested respond to the Anthony home to collect certain items. She was the individual to collect the car and seal it and bring to to sheffifs office. She put a small piece of evidence tape on the openings of the car. She does not recall whether or not she smelled anything. She did not check battery life. Her involvement is that she was involved in the collection of items. Excused.

There was some discussion as to lunch. They will be excused to larger dining hall. Perry: "Hamburger issue worked out." Lunch? Perry: "There's an Italian and a steak." Apparently, the menu will change next week.
