Adriana Esceveda , 2nd deputy on scene, July 15, 2008

 Adriana Acevedo is a the sheriffs deputy with Orange County Sheriff. She responded to the call at the Anthony home on July 15th, 2008. She aririved after Brendon Fletcher., (previous deputy)  She arrived at 952PM . CPL Fletcher was at the house. She was updated by Cpl Fletcher as to events in the home. She took written statements from occupants of the home. She took statements from Lee, George, Cindy and CAsey. Sgt Hosey aririved, He was in charge. He directed her to escort Casey to a particular location in the home at 2350p. Casey got into a marked patrol car. She was not handcuffed or under arrest. She asked her if she was willing to with her in her vehicle. She was assuring she was going voluntarily. She was willing to take her to the last place Caylee was seen. She assured her voluntary participation but talking to her and asking her if she was ok. She told her to notify her if she at anytime she decides to stop the ride. She never did. She took her to 2863 S. Conway Road. It only took a few minutes. The time is located on the police call log. The deputy is showed the call log and identifies it as such. The deputy states she arrived at 0005a.  per the call log. When she was at the Sawgrass apartents, Casey showed her the apartment. She pointed to an apartment and her directed her and Cpl Fletcher to an apartment. Casey was telling her where to drive and stop. It was apt 210.  Casey stated she was certain that the apartment was the last place she ehad seen her daughter. They returned to the Anthony home at 0025a.Casey returned to  the inside of the home.
Attorney Baez cross examines.  Deputy Acevedo testifies that Cindy was upset.  George twas calm et quiet.
Casey was "fairly quiet."  Miss Anthony was not handcuffed . Casey rode in the "back cage" of the marked car. The detective was there or 2 hours.She saw the car with the windows open.  She smelled an odor. She does not know where the smell was coming from. She describes the odor as "garbage type" order."That is the best I can describe it as" It is not her job to consider CSI to investigate. No further questions.
Redirect by prosecution. She passed the vehicle while entering through the garage. She had little \experience with human decomp odor and is not comfortable offering opinion to identification of smell.
Redirect Baez. She walked by the car befoere she had driven Casey to the apartment. There wer 4 other officers there.  Excused.
