Baez ISSUES./Bombshell, April Whalen, Florida Inmate

APRIL WHALEN, FLORIDA INMATE

Baez says he was just handed discovery From state which he thinks violates discovery order LDB is standing with her arms folded  It is discovery from the Anthony computer. Jose Baez: "They gave us copy of hard drive with billions of pieces of data."   . Baez says state has had some info for awhile. He says one of the pics taken from Anthony computer was pic of shot girls. DB says a citizen called Orange Co Sheriff's office last week saying CA and this witness talked while that witness was in jail. His witness is April Wayland (sp?) State says Wayland's son drowned in a pool and grandfather found son and called 911 immediately.State says they don't know if Wayland and CA ever talked but Wayland talked w/ others inmates.State also says they have information from Anthony computer to rebut Baez opening statements. she says defense has had for years. LDB says instead of holding this info till rebuttal case -she handed it over to defense.

Judge is asking more about Wayland (it may be Whalen). He says no discovery violation w/ first 6 items.
Deputy just stepped inside jury room. Judge Perry made Baez to stop talking while door was open.LDB says they handed over ALL computer activity to defense. She says in opening Baez talked about activity morning of June 16 ... The defense is alleging that the State withheld evidence (like he did).LDB says there is info from computer to negate what defense is alleging.Judge notes how important dates were June 15-17 are to case. Judge asks defense if a computer expert looked over hard drive. Yes says Baez.Judge says it was up to defense to look at what days when they were given entire hard drive. Judge says you know what dates were important. Judge asks Baez "how is the state at fault" you chose not to look at certain things..
